Hi!
My name is May, and I’m 20 years old. I’m an English girl living in the south of France since 2007. I have been blogging on and off since I was 13 and everything is on here. I live in Agen (I tell you the name of the town because literally no one knows where it is hehehe) with my boyfriend and two cats (Luna and Nox - you’ll probably hear a lot about them) in our tiny 20m² appartement.
One rainy March afternoon, I was sitting at my godmother's kitchen table, drinking gallons of tea and eating copious amounts of Digestive biscuits, that I created the blog known as 'JustMeMatti'. It was somewhere for me to talk about things I liked, that I liked less, my thoughts, and general crap like that. I would talk at anyone who would listen, but at least they had a chance to click away if they found me boring, instead of politely nodding until it was acceptable for them to run away.
I like skincare, make-up, home decor and food and will do just about anything for some decent pizza. I like giving my opinion, which is why this blog is here today. I also try and travel as much as I can and especially want to discover more of France (still haven’t been to Paris ffs), and will be documenting my travels too.
I love hearing from the people that read my blog and I believe constructive criticism helps people grow so feel free to comment, it makes me really happy.
(Although be warned that I do not tolerate people being nasty or unnecessarily rude to me or anyone else here so if you plan on doing that the only thing you’ll get is a kick up the arse.)
There’s not much rhyme or reason to the blog, I like talking about things that I love and that I find interesting.
I am about to start university doing an English degree and I want to work in theatre administration and living arts industry. I have a costume design, creation and dresser degree specialising in theatre arts, and I also have a hairdressing degree. Yeah I like school, don’t even get me bloody started!
