Matti May Hardie

Hey all,
Hows you?

In a few short weeks, I will have been living in my apartment for a year. Can we just take a second to appreciate how fast that year has gone?! Anyway, when I thought of that, I realized that I hadn't given you guys a tour yet, so I thought that that is what I shall do.

Hey all,
Hows you?

As you will know if you've read some of my older make-up posts, I've have a passion for Rimmel. Every single product I use of theirs is a winner for me and it just works. Simple as. However, all that changed when I bought the Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick in 104. I'd tried it out, tried to make it work but I just didn't like it. It was going a funny consistency, it didn't feel nice to apply, the colour wasn't exactly the nicest. It just wasn't a lipstick I got on with. Then, however, soon before Christmas, I went on a little bit of a shopping trip and treated myself to some new make-up, while doing so, I thought I'd try another Kate Moss lipstick. I went for the 107, the one I was originally going to take. You see, the reason I first bought one of the Kate Moss lipsticks was because I had been watching Zoella... oops! I swear that woman makes me want to buy so much make-up! Anyway, she was raving about them and was saying how great they were, so I figured I'd try them out. I bought the 104 in my local supermarket, and I immediately tried it on. I kind of liked the colour, I loved the consistency of new lipstick. However, as I've been using it, I've realised that I don't really like the colour, but also, it seems to be drying out, which is hella weird, and I was kind of disappointed with it, and thought to myself that if one is like that, they're probably all like that. Back to close to Christmas, I decided to give it another chance; I bought the one that Zoe had originally recommended: the 107.

Hey all,
Hows you?

Happy New Year!!

Wow! Things have been sooooo busy over the past few weeks! I spent Christmas Eve's Eve, Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at my Dad's house, then I went straight to my Mum's boyfriend's house for Christmas dinner French-style, then I stayed over at my Mum's boyfriend's house that night. On Boxing Day I stayed at my best friend, Andréa's house until Sunday evening. So for about 1 and a half weeks I haven't had my precious computer with me... it was hard, but I pulled through.

Hey all,
Hows you?

Who's ready for my monthly favorites?! I really need to cool it with the redbull haha.

M.A.C
I've really developped a passion for Mac over this past month. I have spent many hours drooling over their lipsticks and various other products, but mainly their extensive lipstick collections. It's not the cheapest, I must admit, but sooo worth it!

Hey all,
Hows you?

I finished reading this book about a week ago and I must say I really enjoyed it. It's about a 16 year-old Amish girl called Rebecca Graber, who gets raped by her boyfriend, Zeke. It's a story, in my opinion, about the after-math of things, which I personally think is a very important point of view to remember. It's not just the event that damages a person it's the after-math of living with it that hurts them too.

Hey all,
Hows you?

Yes, I stole this blog post off the wonderful Cara from Maskcara (you can find her post here) because I thought it was such an inspirational and interesting post to write. This is my gratitude list, because sometimes, I need a reminder of what I'm glad about. This took me a really long time to write, you'd be shocked at all the little things in life that you are glad for but forget.

Hey all,
Hows you?

It's that time of the month again! No, not that time of the month, but the time of the month where I tell you beautiful people what my monthly favorites have been!

Elf - Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick
This is one of my all time favorite products. Normally, I don't like lip gloss because I find it way too sticky and I don't like how it feels on my lips, but this is a really good alternative to lip gloss as it isn't sticky and the colours are hella pretty. Mine is in Pink Umbrellas and I think it's a really pretty pinky nude colour.
